Police University Day
May 8th, 2024, from around 10:00 a.m. - trade fair closes at 4:00 p.m
Event in German language only.
The aim of this event for all police and other BOS technical colleges and universities:
Support for trainees, students and lecturers/trainers for training and further education, information exchange and networking nationally and internationally.
And new: inspiration for research projects/ideas!
At the beginning, everyone is planned to meet for one to two hours in a conference hall to start the conference goal with a few lectures and subsequent discussion, perhaps with questions/research projects like these:
- What expectations do you have of the police/internal security trade fair landscape in 2030?
- Do you expect only product presentations or other content at future trade fairs?
- What importance do you place on discussions of current problems as part of lecture series within a trade fair?
- Are you expecting practical applications during product presentations?
- To what extent is there interest in practical simulations or training as part of a trade fair?
- What do you expect from developments in the areas of Virtual Reality, AR, XR for future training situations?
- What need do you see in training and further education for the development of cooperation with all BOS?
Universities are also welcome to define this list of questions themselves and thus contribute to the discussion.
Further research projects can also be undertaken with the Fraunhofer institutes, which also actively participate as exhibitors, and, for example, the Mittweida University of Applied Sciences.
Followed by a visit to the trade fair and training: market-leading providers and competitors will once again present their innovative products and numerous new products at the trade fair in this comprehensive overview of management and operational resources. Several police and security authorities and organizations can also be contacted at the trade fair and thus contribute to the success of the GPEC® as speakers at the specialist conferences.
And for this we offer participants on the University Day free of charge access to the trade fair and to take part in the university meeting, even on two or all three days of the fair, so that only travel costs have to be covered by the universities.
