In Germany and worldwide, cases of successful vehicle breaches are on the rise. Placebo barriers are increasingly becoming deadly traps for people and emergency services. But what happens when hopeful aspirations collide with harsh reality? How can authorities not only prevent personal injury but also protect their employees from the far-reaching consequences of officially sanctioned mismanagement when detailed investigations and expert assessments are required?
The most common problem is that authorities and municipalities lack the necessary foundational knowledge and are almost defenseless against the sometimes alarming profit-seeking of individual market players. At the same time, authorities must balance protection, practicality, and affordability.
To address this shortcoming, GPEC® is once again offering all interested authorities the opportunity to participate in the internationally renowned Access Control Symposium this year. The symposium will provide the opportunity to examine sustainable access control in the context of this era of change, using the latest information. Participants will gain essential practical knowledge to confidently navigate the regulatory challenges surrounding access control.
